INTEGRATED MANUAL INTELLIGENT CONTROLS
MIC®
MANUAL INTELLIGENT CONTROLS
The Manual Intelligent Control (MIC®) system features a range of advanced sensor controls offering affordable energy saving options.
Upon presence detection, luminaires are switched on. Depending on the client’s requirements the luminaire will then dim and/or switch off following prolonged absence.
There are three types of Manual Intelligent Control: MIC 1, MIC 2 and MIC 3.
The benefits of introducing controls

COSTS
MIC systems are an affordable and cost-effective lighting solutions which can significantly increase the efficiency of projects.

ENERGY SAVINGS
MIC prevents areas from being unnecessarily illuminated which considerably reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs.

EASY INSTALLATION
Each MIC unit is self contained and acts independently (unless installed in a master and slave). All sensors are pre-set at Steon and are connected during a simple electrical installation.

OUR MANUAL INTELLIGENT CONTROLS
MIC 1
A versatile and cost-effective
OFF-ON-OFF energy saving
control unit.
MIC 2
Offers all the benefits of the
MIC 1 but with a DIM-ON-DIM
function. MIC 2 is an ideal control
for reducing energy consumption
whilst providing some level of
illumination for extra safety.
MIC 3
The most flexible energy saving manual control with an OFF-ON-DIM-OFF function, permitting optimal light management.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION OPTIONS
Option OneÂ
The leaders are all working independently for maximum energy efficiency to create a cascade effect. This is ideal for a retrofit installation.

Option TwoÂ
The leader is working in conjunction with a follower to illuminate a specific zone. The leader will control the follower.

Option ThreeÂ
The leader and the follower are working in conjunction to illuminate a larger area.

Option FourÂ
The leaders are working together for increased efficiency and maximum sensitivity in a zoned area.

Option FiveÂ
The leaders are working together for increased efficiency and maximum sensitivity in a larger area.
