bluCONNECT® is based on Bluetooth Low Energy Mesh, a state-of-the-art wireless technology.
How does it work?
The bluCONNECT® system provides a mesh network where all the system intelligence is replicated in every node, as a result it is a system with no single points of failure. This self-organising mesh network can control a large number of luminaires and allows units to go offline before reintegrating when they return online.

Install
Luminaires will be installed with their CASAMBI nodes.

Download the app and commission
The CASAMBI app is a simple and easy to use commissioning tool. Users can take pictures of areas and drag and drop luminaires to their specific location.Â

A mesh network is created
bluCONNECT creates a self-organising mesh network of luminaires where intelligence is distributed across the network.

Control
Users can now have access to a whole tool kit of control opportunities. From the app users are able to monitor and control their lighting installation.
What is possible with BluConnect?
Simple Commissioning
bluCONNECT has a unique gallery feature where users simply take photos of a space, or upload a floor plan to the app then mark the positions of their luminaires.Â
Daylight Harvesting
bluCONNECT utilises natural light and dims artificial light as appropriate. Daylight harvesting reduces energy consumption and ensures correct lux levels are maintained.Â
Grouping Luminaires
Grouping luminaires in the bluCONNECT app is simple. Once luminaires are grouped, they can be controlled simultaneously, or the group can be expanded for individual control.Â
Occupancy Sensing
Sensors detect occupancy and adjust the lux level accordingly. Occupancy sensing allows for maximum energy savings whilst ensuring that areas are always suitably illuminated.
Colour Temperature Control
Within the app, colour temperature can be adjusted with the use of a sliding scale. Clients can choose any colour from warm white through to cool white.
Scene Setting
Different lighting arrangements can be pre-set for different occasions. It’s possible to control multiple luminaires with one tap to create the perfect ambience for a given occasion.
